Jurassic World rebirth review

I love Jurassic Park, I’ve loved the franchise since its inception in 1993. In fact, I saw the first movie 4 times in theaters when I was a kid at the time.  But wow this one was just awful through and through, this is going to be one of the most negative reviews and full of spoilers but please save your money and don’t pay to watch this dumpster fire.

All I can say that’s positive is that some of the “hybrid dinosaurs” looked kind of cool and the T-Rex made an appearance (Which was still so stupid). And the nature scenery was beautiful and some literally just ok action scenes.

First let’s start that all this started because of a Snickers wrapper, this isn’t a joke it go stuck in something and the “final boss” of the movie got released. The story…it was a copy and paste of various elements of other installments. The characters were all so dumb, while the mercenaries deliberately sailed into forbidden waters, there was this random family who decided to sail across it and the entire time you were wondering if they knew or not. The family was useless to the plot till the end when the little girl has her prototypical moment and saves the day. There was no death in the movie that was significant, all the characters who died, you knew they were going to die, they were useless to the plot through and through. The story was just so cliche, so uninteresting, and so predictable, you knew the fake friendly CEO was going to turn out to be a villain and the pacing of the story was just so poorly done with unnecessary plot twists one after the other which made no sense. And to top it off, the Distortus rex at the end, just looked awful and seemed like something out of Resident Evil…

It’s bad and barely watchable, I wish i didn’t pay to watch it in theatres.

I give this 3/10.

Good:

  • Some cool effects
  • Beautiful Scenery

Bad:

  • Story
  • The cameo scene of the T-Rex
  • Characters, literally all of them
  • Just awful throughout
  • Boring
  • Poorly paced
