The movie we were all wondering how the MCU would handle it, the most offensive, random and hilarious character in Marvel. Well it’s finally here with another originally unexpected addition of Wolverine and I can assure you it lived up to the hype!
So let’s start off by saying it was hilarious from beginning to end and not even just for fans, very much for casuals as well. The cameos for the most part were unexpected and actually relevant to the story for a change. The dysfunctional dynamic between Deadpool and Wolverine was enjoyable, every minute of it. And for a change since Spider-Man No Way Home the multiverse actually made sense!
A lot of people were complaining about the story, and to be honest, there wasn’t really much of one but it really didn’t make a difference. The main villain was pretty insignificant and wasn’t even the most evil character in the movie. While the cameos were great, a lot of them were a “blink and you miss it” moment. Also, it does leave you with the question of “How is this going to fit into the MCU?”.
Overall, so worth watching and very little to be upset about. There are many cheering moments in this movie which I will not spoil and let you watch. It’s a ton of fun for fans and casuals and you need to watch it! I give this a 9/10!
Good:
- Hilarious beginning to end
- Deadpool and Wolverine dynamic is great
- Cameos and Multiverse made sense for once
Bad:
- Story…doesn’t really exist
- Villain wasn’t great
